At the invitation of the California Nanosystems Institute (CNSI), a world-renowned center for nanosystems research (with the centers in University of California - Santa Barbara and University of California - Los Angeles) and the MARCO Center on Functional Engineered Nano Architectonics (FENA), Professor Balandin gave a plenary talk entitled Nano-Phononics: From Concepts to Device Applications.
